Each month, Lakeview Camp recognizes a team member who “rings the bell” with dedication and impact through the Bell Ringer Award. This month, we’re celebrating McKenzie Schulze, who truly embodies serving with heart.

Before joining full-time, Kenzie was a teacher, but her love for people and camp ministry brought her back. As Guest Experience Manager, she brings laughter, warmth, and a sense of family to everything she does whether preparing for a weekend retreat or welcoming 1,000 guests, Kenzie makes everyone feel at home.

“I met Kenzie five years ago when she was a student-athlete and athletic trainer at Nelson University,” shared Jaroy. “She’s always had an instant connection with kids, full of life and showing that love to everyone around her.” Guests constantly praise her welcoming spirit and leadership, making her a natural fit for camp ministry.

A proud Nelson University graduate, Kenzie keeps camp running smoothly behind the scenes, all with a smile.

Congratulations, Kenzie. Thank you for ringing the bell so faithfully and sharing your heart for ministry with everyone at Lakeview.
