One Great Big summer
This was the summer of big at LV; big fun, big numbers, big God moments and results. We finished the summer with over 30 camps representing hundreds of churches and thousands of campers and leaders all across the state of Texas. This was again a record breaking summer in so many ways. We welcomed lots of new and returning groups. I spoke to many campers and leaders that were very appreciative of the fun, food, facilities, and fellowship they received during their time at LV. I met people from new groups that were amazed of our facilities and what all we had to offer. A few quotes were:
“We didn’t know what to expect coming to this facility. We had no idea of the beauty and peaceful spirit we feel here.”
“I didn’t know what to expect and was apprehensive but in just a few days, this place feels like home.”
“The LV staff is so welcoming and friendly. We love this place.”
“All our churches departments now come to LV. We love it here.”
“Every time I came to LV, I’m blown away by the excellence here. You are truly architects of encounters with God.”
All these comments are what keeps us motivated and determined to give all who come to LV a fun and spiritual experience they will never forget. As summer now fades into fall, we have many guest groups and retreats planned. With the many upgrades and improvements to our facilities and recreation options, I encourage you to plan a fall or winter retreat experience you and your group will never forget. Please view our new website and contact us on how we can help design an event to fit your group’s needs. We want you to experience “Happens Here” moments the will truly change the world.
